About Me – Brenda Bissell
As a certified Master Gardener I have been gardening in Alaska for 40 years.
I will be there for you to help you with your selections to achieve not only a beautiful garden, but one that you can enjoy with minimum effort to maintain from year to year.
I am constantly updating my botany knowledge by attending conferences, most recent the Polar Greenhouse/Nursery Conference and the Northwest Tree Conference and volunteering in the community by:
- Teaching classes for the community at various greenhouses
- Volunteering for the Junior Master Gardener Program
- Teaching classes for the Anchorage School District
- Providing gardening services for the Pioneer Home
- Sponsoring baskets for the Municipality ”Foster A Flower” Program
With gardening knowledge and tools, I can map out a great plan for you with your personal selections for your yard and garden.
